In concert with the new direct to consumer workers’ compensation insurance web platform, AmeriTrust CONNECT introduces Get CONNECTed, a new video series from President, Brian Risen.

Recently Brian shared why he felt inspired to take this step into the digital realm of communicating. “Over the years, I have benefited tremendously from successful business leaders and exceptional mentors. Now is a great time to pay it forward by creating a platform to bring small business owners together to share ideas and lessons learned.” Upcoming blog posts from Brian will draw attention to important insurance, business management, and leadership topics, often by spotlighting small business owners.

With over 37 years of experience, Brian is a seasoned executive of the insurance industry. He joined AmeriTrust Group, Inc. in 2018 and now serves as President of AmeriTrust CONNECT. Prior to AmeriTrust, Brian held senior positions with W. R. Berkley Corp., Crum & Forster, Lockton Affinity and Universal Underwriters Group.

Although Brian’s insurance experience is valuable, his life outside the insurance world is most dear to his heart. He treasures spending time with his wife, four adult children, and five grandchildren. Not to be forgotten, his family dogs, Paisley and Molly. Brian also enjoys the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs as well as the famous Kansas City BBQ.
